Before you pay

Does the plan renew by itself?

The Family Plan renews once a year at $99, or monthly at $12, until you cancel.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from Account settings. The plan keeps working to the end of the period you paid for, and renewals are not refunded.

What happens when the plan ends?

Everything you added stays, and you can still download it. Adding photos, editors and trees pauses until you subscribe again. People you invited can still view your trees.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within the 14 days under Refunds above. A Keepsake that has been credited toward a year of the Family Plan can’t be refunded on its own. Renewals and payments older than 14 days are not refundable, except where the law says so.

Do I own my tree?

Yes. Every tree downloads in full as JSON, free, always. GEDCOM for other genealogy apps comes with a Keepsake (for that tree, for good) or while you’re on the Family Plan. Nothing is locked in. A Keepsake never expires and stays with its tree through Trash and restore.
