You say who is related to whom. Draw My Tree works out where everyone goes, and works it out again the moment you add someone. There is nothing to drag, align, or tidy up afterwards.

The builder opens by offering you one: you and your parents. Rename them, add a birth year if you know it, and carry on. A name is the only thing a person needs.
Add a parent, a spouse, or a child from any card, and the tree makes room. Already have a GEDCOM file from Ancestry, MyHeritage, or another app? Import it instead and pick up where you left off.
Come back whenever a date, a story, or a box of photographs surfaces. Nothing has to be complete for the tree to be worth opening.
These are worked examples, not a menu. The colours, the typeface, the background, the card shape, the spacing, which way the tree runs, and which details each card shows are all yours to set, free, before you make an account.
Every style here is a set of the same settings, already chosen. Start from one, then change anything you like.
Adjust any of them and the tree redraws. There are a good many more: line thickness and corner radius, how a marriage is drawn against a partnership, the mark where a family branches, a name pinned to every line, the colour of every line and label, card spacing, photo shape, generation bands, and which dates each card shows.
Land on something you like and save it as your own style, to reuse on this tree or any other. Whatever you choose travels with the tree into every share link, print, and export.
A card on the canvas is the least of what a person is here. Underneath it, Draw My Tree stores their history: a biography in your own words, the dates and places their life turned on, the photographs and certificates somebody finally scanned, and a citation tying a claim in the story to the record it came from.
This is where the tree stops being a diagram. The relationships stay structured the way genealogy software keeps them, everything you write and attach is stored with the person rather than beside them, and it all comes back out when you export. The drawing is what you hang on the wall; the history is what you are actually building.

Your tree is private until you decide otherwise. Invite relatives by email to look or to help edit, or publish a read-only link anyone can open without an account. Turn it off whenever you like, or create a new link so the old one stops working.
On that link, living relatives are hidden by default: they keep their place in the tree as “Private”, with no name, dates, or photo, and you reveal anyone you choose. No ads, no data sales, on any tier.

If you already use Claude, ChatGPT, or another assistant that accepts custom connectors, you can connect it to your tree. It can then read the tree, tell you which relatives have the least recorded about them, and record what you find with the source attached.
It works inside the assistant you already have. There is no chat built into Draw My Tree, and most assistants need their own paid plan to add a connector.
